This dual focus allows her to support employers in securing highly skilled candidates while also navigating the complexities of cross-border hiring and immigration processes. 

April combines specialized Immigration and Citizenship studies from Queens University with a foundation in Social-Cultural Anthropology, giving her a deep understanding of people, culture, and workforce dynamics. Her previous corporate experience in the Oil and Gas, Telecommunications, and Agricultural sectors has further sharpened her ability to align workforce planning with organizational goals. 

By blending Talent Acquisition strategy with immigration expertise, she is uniquely positioned to help businesses thrive in a competitive talent market. As the Business Development and Marketing Strategy Lead at Calderwood, Nnenna focuses on helping the company grow through strong relationships and smart, data-backed marketing. Her goal is simple: to connect us with the right clients and talent in a genuine and consistent way. 

She comes from a sales background and currently finishing her master's in marketing operations, so she understands both the numbers and the people side of growth. She enjoys finding practical ways to make our outreach more effective and our brand more recognizable. 

Outside of work, she is usually learning about new marketing tools, exploring ideas that inspire her, or figuring out better ways to tell stories that connect people.
